Maetavee Genevieve Shubeck is a poet and artist. She was the Lillian Vernon fellow at New York University, where she earned her MFA in poetry. From 2023–2024, she was the Axinn fellow at the Academy of American Poets. Her work has been featured in Hobart and Emocean, among other publications. Raised in Florida, she is originally from Thailand.
